temperature key
   The relative level of a color's temperature, whether referencing an individual color, or a color scheme seen either in an artwork's entirety or in a passage within one. The warmer the color, the higher the temperature key; the cooler the colors, the lower the temperature key. Also see chroma key, contrast key, cool colors, tonal key, warm colors, and value key.
